Exploring Teacher Leadership

Synopsis

The purpose of this course is to help you acquire new understandings and new skills to impact your current or future work as a teacher leader. The process of becoming an impactful teacher leader is an ongoing one where one’s leadership agency grows with practice and with the acquisition of new knowledge and skills. You are therefore encouraged to approach this course, and other professional learning experiences related to teacher leadership, as important acts of Professionalism. The Ohio Teacher Evaluation System (OTES) 2.0 Rubric addresses this in two components: Communication and Collaboration with Colleagues and Professional Learning.
