This course is developed to satisfy the professional development requirements under House Bill 33. It is designed to extend educator knowledge of the science of reading, including evidence-based language and literacy instruction, supporting students with reading difficulties, and instructional strategies for reading and writing. The audience for this course includes teachers, intervention specialists, reading specialists, and coaches in grades K-5.
