Measuring Student Growth in Classrooms (3 hours)

SEGMENT ONE–Essential Learning and Clear Learning Targets: 
You will see how creating and using clear learning targets can help you select and organize the essential learning for your SLO. In this segment, you will see how student ownership of learning helps students gain a clear vision of the most important learning goals.

SEGMENT TWO–Planning and Creating Pre- and Post-Assessments: 
You will see how collecting and documenting evidence of student learning supports your SLO pre- and post-assessment designs. In this segment you will see how student ownership of learning helps students understand how they will be expected to demonstrate learning.

SEGMENT THREE–Measuring Learning: From Readiness to Mastery and Beyond: 
You will see how analyzing evidence and providing effective feedback helps you measure growth in a way that supports learning. In this segment you will see how student ownership of learning helps students communicate how far they've come in their learning.

Implementing Evidence-Based Grading: Master Rubrics Make It Doable (2 hours)

This module consists of three parts: 
Making the Case for Evidence-Based Grading, 
Creating a Strong Master Rubric, and 
Implementing Evidence-Based Grading. 

In this module you will learn how to implement a systematic approach to grading that is accurate, efficient, and doable.
