Synopsis
This course guides the mentor in supporting the resident educator through the Collaboration module of the Focused Mentoring courses. By the end of the module, participants will engage in activities involving the following competencies: -Collaborating with Colleagues to Support and Enrich Student Learning Opportunities -Analyzing the Impact of Collaboration on the Problem of PracticeCourse Overview
Standard 6: Teachers collaborate and communicate with students, parents, other educators, administrators, and the community to support student learning.

Note: This course is part of the Focused Mentoring Program consisting of Focused Mentoring 1, Focused Mentoring 2 and Instructional Mentoring.
Focused Mentoring 1 targets communication, collaboration and professional growth. Focused Mentoring 2 targets use of student formative and summative assessment in year 2. This program is designed to engage the mentor and resident educator and result in improved instructional practice.
