This module guides the mentor in supporting the resident educator through the designing assessments section of the Focused Mentoring courses. By the end of the module, participants will engage in activities involving the following competencies: Ensuring alignment and appropriateness of measures to outcomes (including when and how to use assessments formatively and summatively) Using data for adjusting practiceCourse Overview
In this module, you will learn about the various forms of assessments and their formative use in understanding student learning. You will examine how well assessments provide meaningful data to differentiate student needs for instructional purposes.
